Magnesium-aluminum spinel crucibles are manufactured from high-quality alkaline refractory materials, primarily composed of periclase and spinel, with selected additives to ensure strong bonding between crystalline phases. Formed under high pressure and sintered at elevated temperatures, these crucibles achieve a dense and stable structure.
With a bulk density typically exceeding 3.2 g/cm³ and a maximum service temperature of up to 1750°C, they offer excellent mechanical strength, outstanding thermal shock resistance, and superior corrosion resistance, especially in alkaline environments. These characteristics make them highly suitable for demanding high-temperature and corrosive applications.
